WORK: Featured Projects: OVERVIEW

The 2009 new build project on the Rochester Institute of Technology's Campus boasts 43,530 sq ft of administrative services space as well as a 10,000 sq ft 'Innovation Center'.

The three story administrative zone will provide the Institute with much needed office space. The majority of the offices are laid out with open landscape furniture systems to help promote team collaboration and communication. These also ensure flexibility for office planning diversity within each department.

The Innovation Center is circular in design to promote student interdisciplinary research. This space has a clear span of 112' and provides the campus with a grand, column-free area for student collaboration.

In Spring 2010, the USGBC granted the Administrative Services Center at RIT LEED Platinum Certification in response to both the owner and design team's strong commitment to sustainable design. This is the highest distinction the USGBC may bestow upon a building and the ASC is the first university building to be certified LEED Platinum in New York State under LEED NCv2.2.
